Hardcover Notebook
This matte hardcover notebook features one of my favorite paintings I’ve created, All These Layers That Remind Me of My. Own. The painting’s image is mirrored on the front and back covers, and the notebook is 5.75” x 8” in size. With 150 lined pages, it works wonderfully for daily note-taking, brainstorming, planning, journaling, or whatever else inspires you to write.
As a creative who deeply appreciates a beautiful space to write — even for the mundane things in life — I am overjoyed to share these journals with the world.
All These Layers That Remind Me of My Own
This painting and I – we know each other; we reflect each other.
It took me exactly 6 months to complete this painting, but for a long time I assumed it’d never be finished. As soon as I would seem to find direction in it, something always felt off. I built up thick, messy layers just to immediately scrape and scrub them away. I planned so many times to tear the canvas off in defeat, facing it against the wall for months as I tried to gain the confidence to actually do it – to tear it off, admitting that defeat.
But, no, this painting built up strength and resilience in those gritty layers as it quietly and patiently stood against these studio walls. It softly nagged at me to see it with new eyes and see those layers as a path to where it was supposed to arrive all along – far different; far more purposeful and beautiful than I could have fathomed.
So I began painting it again all the way to completion – full of history and stories; boldness and gentleness; patience and strength, darkness and light; deep roots and full redemption.
Yeah, all these layers in this big painting – they remind me of my own. Fully whole; fully redeemed; and full of beautiful, gritty, resilient stories to tell.

Please note that the standard sizes might have slight cropping from the edges of the original image, and colors on screen may vary from colors on print.
All reproduction prints are printed on high-quality archival canvas with a satin finish by a trusted fine art printer.
Please allow about 2-4 weeks between time of order and delivery, as these are created made-to-order.
ROLLED CANVAS
Rolled (un-stretched) canvas is shipped in a tube for safe travel. These prints provide easy framing options, especially for smaller sizes. These work well with most frames you find at home decor stores. For larger sizes, you can take them to a framer for custom framing.
For extra large prints that are not available stretched: you can purchase it rolled, and then take it to a framer to get it professionally stretched, if desired. Please email me if you'd like to add a an extra 3 inch border, which is needed for stretching.
STRETCHED CANVAS
Stretched canvas has a "gallery-wrapped" style 1.5 inch depth, just like my original paintings on canvas. These prints are ready for hanging as-is, or you can take them to a local framer to be professionally framed.
